The PNDC Workshop on Communications and Cyber Security for Smart Grids, a significant contributor to the success of the SmartNets edition, covers a comprehensive range of topics. These include next-generation communication networks, virtualisations, digital security, cloud security, and deception security solutions. In its fourth year alongside SmartNets 2024, the workshop continued to deliver enriching presentations from esteemed academicians and industry experts, significantly enhancing the event’s value. The fourth edition of the PNDC workshop, a virtual event held during the IEEE SmartNets conference on May 30th, 2024, focused on communications and cyber security challenges and prospects in various energy sectors and applications. It provided a platform for collaboration, idea exchange, and the presentation of innovative solutions in communications and cyber security for critical infrastructure.
