Jacqueline has over 25 years international experience in senior positions with energy majors, with expertise in risk management, business development and technology innovation. Jacqueline is chair of CENSIS, one of Scotland’s innovation centres focused on sensing and imaging technology, and on the Board for the Scottish National Investment Bank (SNIB).
Federico Coffele
Research & Development Director
Federico received a BSc and MSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Padova, Italy, and a PhD received from the University of Strathclyde and has worked in industry and academia in the area of protection, automation and control of distribution networks.
Richard Knight
Director for Strategy & Technology
Richard is a Chartered electrical engineer and Fellow of the IET with 29 years’ experience in energy sector innovation with previous roles at the National Grid, Rolls-Royce plc, Energy Technologies Institute (ETI) and Energy Systems Catapult (ESC). From 2014 to 2018 Richard was a member of the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 Advisory Group on Energy.
Kathleen Goldie
Commercial Director
Kathleen brings a diverse mix of technical & commercial experience from various sectors within the energy industry. She holds a BSc in Mathematics & Physics, and an MSc in High Power Radio Frequency Engineering. Kathleen has held both technical & project delivery roles involving research development & practical on-site implementation. Additionally, she has worked across the public & private sector in both business development & bid management roles.
Scott Wanless
Technical Manager and SAP
Scott is responsible for supporting PNDC testing and demonstration activities, ensuring that our unique infrastructure is utilised in a safe and effective manner. His experience as a Senior Authorised Person (SAP) allows the PNDC to undertake its own maintenance and operation of the 11kV high voltage (HV) network, in support of our R&D team and our clients.

Alison joins PNDC as Business Support and Quality Manager from Local Authority. She has managed business support teams across multiple Education establishments and brings extensive knowledge and experience in business support, finance, and HR.
