Tell us about your role at the PNDC.
I am an Admin Assistant dealing with finance, purchasing, reception and general administrative tasks.
How long have you been working here?
I joined PNDC in December 2018.
What was your background before joining the PNDC?
I started work as a BT Telephone Operator (for young ones, this was when you had to dial 100 to be connected to certain calls), and then moved to an admin role in the Engineering Department. From there I move to the civil engineering sector where I stayed for 21 years before deciding it was time for a change.
What do you enjoy most about working at the PNDC?
The people. Having been used to working in large companies, coming to work in the PNDC was a breath of fresh air. We’re a small, friendly team which makes it a pleasant place to work.
What can we find you doing in your spare time?
I have 2 dogs, a GSD and a Romanian rescue, so a lot of time is spent walking them. I’m also an avid reader and my favourite place to read is lying by a pool in the sunshine.
