PNDC are delighted to welcome Allan Downie and Hao Guo who have both joined as Smart Grid Research Engineers and Olivia Murphy who has joined as an administrative assistant.
Allan Downie has recently graduated with a first class honours degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Strathclyde. Allan has experience working with SimPowerSystems for electronic and electrical systems modelling (final year project.
Hao Guo received his BEng degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Manchester in 2012 as the top student and continued pursuing a PhD in Electrical Engineering in the University of Manchester from 2012 to 2016. He has collaborated with manufacturers and utilities and worked on a number of smart grid projects. He is a member of IET and has good knowledge and experience in Protection, Control and Communication within power substations.
Olivia Murphy has joined the PNDC admin team. She has previously worked with Fitness First and Eurostar UK Limited administrative roles. Olivia has degree in Social Sciences form Makerere University (Uganda) and a Post Graduate Diploma in International Relations and Diplomacy from The London College.
